The Itinerary of the Netherlands Tour

Day 1 (24/06/2010):

 Birmingham, UK → Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Fly to Amsterdam from Birmingham, and will arrive at the Schiphol Airport at 15.15.

Go to the city center by tram /bus.

Settle down in the B &B.

Go to city center to have dinner at about 18.00.

Go to the Red Light District.

Go back to the B &B.

Stay in the cees smit’s B &B, Amsterdam.

Day 2 (25/06/2010):

Amsterdam → Alkmaar → Amsterdam

Go to the Cheese Market in Alkmaar in the morning. Go back to Amsterdam at about 12.00.

Go to the Heineken Museum.

Go to the Van Gogh Museum.

Take a canal cruise at night.

Go back to the B&B.

Stay in the cees smit’s B &B, Amsterdam.

Day 3 (26/06/2010):

 Amsterdam → Rotterdam → Kinderdijk→ Rotterdam

Leave Amsterdam and go to Rotterdam by train in the morning. The train schedule is as follows: 08:27 Amsterdam Central → 09:01 Amersfoort, 09:11 Amersfoort → 09:35 Rotterdam.

Settle down in the Stayokay Rotterdam.

Go to Kinderdijk by bus (about 1 hr). Walk around Kinderdijk to see the windmills.

Go back to Rotterdam in the afternoon at about 17.00.

Have dinner in Rotterdam and walk around the city center.

Go back to the hostel.

Stay in Stayokay Rotterdam, Rotterdam.

Day 4 (27/06/2010):

 Rotterdam → Utrecht → Giethoorn

Go around the city center of Rotterdam to see the modern and beautiful architecture in the morning.

Go to Utrecht. The train schedule is as follows: 12:06 Rotterdam → 12:53 Utrecht Centraal.

Go to the Miffy Museum in Utrecht by bus No.2, get off at the Central Museum station.

Go to Giethoorn. Firstly go to Steenwijk by train. The train schedule is as follows: 17:51 Utrecht Centraal → 19:14 Steenwijk. Then go to Giethoorn from Steenwijk by taxi.

Settle down in the B & B.

Stay in B &B Mol / Groenewegen, Giethoorn.

Day 5 (28/06/2010):

Giethoorn → Amsterdam

Stay in Girthoorn and walk around Giethoorn.

Go back to Amsterdam in the afternoon by train. The train schedule is as follows: 17:43 Steenwijk → 19:32 Amsterdam Centraal

Settle down in the B & B.

Stay in Home run Bed and Breakfast, Amsterdam.

Day 6 (29/06/2010):

 Amsterdam → Birmingham, UK

Go to the Singel Bloemen Market in the morning.

Go to the Waterlooplein Flea Market then.

Rent bikes to go around the city center and enjoy the last day in the Netherlands.

Go to the airport at about 19.00.

Take the flight (21:25 Amsterdam → 21:40 Birmingham) back to the UK.
